Description
Job Summary:
The Executive – Quality Control will be responsible for testing pharmaceutical materials and products as per the described procedures and regulatory standards. This role involves conducting rigorous quality checks, analyzing test results, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct systematic inspections and quality checks on raw materials, in-process production and finished products.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Analyze quality control data to identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on inspections, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Implement and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent product quality.
- Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
- Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and guide junior QC staff to uphold quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, a related field (preferably in Chemistry).
- 8-10 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in a relevant industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, tools, and industry standards.
- Attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of GLP, GMP and other regulatory standards (industry-specific) is a must.
