The Iraqi Women Economic Empowerment (IWEE) project aims to strengthen women's economic participation through entrepreneurship, capacity building, and enhanced financial access. The project focuses on addressing barriers faced by women in business and developing the capacity of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to provide ongoing support to women-led businesses. Key interventions include ecosystem development, tailored entrepreneurship programs, and capacity-building activities for CSOs across Iraq, with a focus on regions impacted by conflict and social instability.
The Designer will support the IWEE project by brand-aligned visual communications for print, digital, and events. Responsibilities include developing and adapting templates, infographics, training materials, and event/booth graphics; ensuring strict adherence to Expertise France - AFD/IWEE brand guidelines; preparing production-ready files; and maintaining organized source packages and version control. The Designer will coordinate with IWEE communications to prioritize tasks, meet agreed timelines, and ensure all outputs are accurate, accessible and suitable for dissemination across IWEE channels.
Objectives of the Assignment
The primary goal of this assignment is to:
To provide professional graphic design services that translate IWEE’s messages and brand into clear, accessible, and impactful visual materials for printing, digital, and events, ensuring consistency with Expertise France and IWEE brand guidelines and best practices for Arabic (Right to Left) typesetting.
Scope of Work and Responsibilities
The Designer will create/adapt assets in Arabic and English as needed. All artwork must follow EF/IWEE brand guidelines and be delivered with open, editable source files.
A) Brand & Templates:
• Social media templates (feed + stories), [X] master layouts.
• PowerPoint master template (title, section, content slides).
B) Print Collateral:
• Tri‑fold IWEE brochure (Arabic) amendments/finalization.
• Flyers for events and awareness sessions.
• Roll‑up banners/backdrops.
• Posters and handouts for training.
C) Event & Booth Graphics:
• Event identity kit.
• Booth panels, backdrop, counters, wayfinding stickers [as per booth specs].
D) Digital Assets:
• Infographics/illustrations.
E) Handover & File Management:
• Delivery of source files (Adobe Illustrator/ Adobe InDesign/ Adobe Photoshop) + packaged assets (fonts, links).
• Final print‑ready PDFs and web‑optimized images (PNG/JPG/SVG).
• Organized folders and naming convention aligned to IWEE.
Deliverables
1. Brand & Templates:
• IWEE social media master templates (feed + stories),
editable.
• PowerPoint master deck (title, section, content slides).
2. Print Collateral:
• Tri-fold brochure (Arabic) finalized, print-ready + source package.
• Roll-up banners / posters (sizes per vendor specs).
• One-pagers/flyers for awareness sessions and training.
3. Event & Booth Graphics:
• Event identity kit (logo lockups, color usage, typography).
• Booth/backdrop panels, counters, wayfinding, and production files with bleeds.
4. Digital Assets:
• Web/email banners and hero images.
• Infographics/illustrations explaining IWEE activities and results.
• Icon set (SVG/PNG) consistent with brand.
5. Training & Communication Materials:
• Slide deck(s) for IWEE sessions (AR/EN) + facilitator notes layout.
• Participant handouts/worksheets templates.
Language ; Arabic and English
Required Qualifications and Skills
5 + years in professional graphic design across print, digital, and event/booth graphics.
• Advanced Adobe CC (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); Figma/After Effects is a plus.
• Proven Arabic and English typesetting; strong attention to copy-fit and punctuation.
• Creating/maintaining templates, icon sets, style guides, consistent application of brand.
• Clear infographics, process maps, and training materials.
• Packaged source files (AI/INDD/PSD + fonts/links), clean layers, naming & version control.
• Legible typography and color contrast; alt-text guidance for key visuals.
Reporting and Coordination
The Designer will report and Coordinate with the IWEE Communication Officer and work closely with him/her.

The Designer agrees to comply with Expertise France policies, including safeguarding, anti‑fraud, anti‑corruption, data protection, and relevant Iraqi laws and regulations
