Description
ROLE PURPOSE:
To ensure that all country office space including meeting rooms, toilets, kitchen, reception and hallway is kept in a clean and orderly condition
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Reception and Office Administration
- Clean Office areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
- Support the Facilities Manager to ensure that all areas of the office are tidy, functioning and professional at all times
- Carry out any other duties either in addition to or instead of those outlined above which may reasonably be required.
- Aware of the SG policy of SCI inside and outside the office and report any violations.
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Follow the SCI CoC terms inside the office with the staff.
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
- Ability of reading and writing, specifically Kurdish and Arabic.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

- Six months experience of cleaning in an office environment, including the use of chemicals and using cleaning machineries safely.
- Previous experience in as an office cleaner.
- Aware of humanitarian operation context.
- Trustworthy in all aspects of the role.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to follow instructions and cleaning schedules.
