Description

ROLE PURPOSE:

To ensure that all country office space including meeting rooms, toilets, kitchen, reception and hallway is kept in a clean and orderly condition

 

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

 

Reception and Office Administration

  • Clean Office areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
  • Support the Facilities Manager to ensure that all areas of the office are tidy, functioning and professional at all times
  • Carry out any other duties either in addition to or instead of those outlined above which may reasonably be required.
  • Aware of the SG policy of SCI inside and outside the office and report any violations.
  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
  • Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.
  • Follow the SCI CoC terms inside the office with the staff.
  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
  • Ability of reading and writing, specifically Kurdish and Arabic.

  • Six months experience of cleaning in an office environment, including the use of chemicals and using cleaning machineries safely.
  • Previous experience in as an office cleaner.
  • Aware of humanitarian operation context.
  • Trustworthy in all aspects of the role.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Ability to follow instructions and cleaning schedules.
