Description

This Internship is to allow people in their early career to gain exposure and experience working in the humanitarian system, through on-the-job training, program and operations work experience and site visits. The ERD Intern will support the ERD team by:

  • Assisting in the preparation and processing of administrative paperwork such as purchase requests (Item Forecast), payment requests, liquidation forms, travel requests, etc.
  • Supporting the preparation and submission of Item Forecasts (office supplies, workshop materials, services, etc.) through Integra.
  • Supporting documentation, filing, and achieving of ERD project administrative papers.
  • Assisting in organizing meetings, workshops, and events (logistics, documentation, minutes).
  • Coordinating with supply chain, finance, and HR colleagues on follow-up of administrative requests.
  • Undertaking any other duties delegated by the ERD Coordinator.

 

Major Deliverables:

  • Timely and accurate submission of item forecast requests.
  • Properly filed and archived administrative documents.
  • Updated trackers as assigned.
  • Logistical and documentation support for ERD events and workshops.
  • Effective coordination and follow-up with relevant departments.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
  • B.A Degree in business administration, management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Interest in administrative work and humanitarian/development programs.
  • Fluency in Arabic; knowledge of English is an advantage.
