OPEN TENDER - FOR SECURITY GUARD SERVICES
(BAGHDAD & ANBAR)
Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) is an International Non-Governmental Organization involved in humanitarian demining program and long-term development cooperation programs in Iraq. NPA’s Mine Action and Disarmament (MAD) Program is being implemented in South & Central provinces of Iraq with its main office in Baghdad.
NPA is looking for a competent Security Service Company to provide static unarmed guards for its offices in Baghdad, Ramadi, Haditha and Rawa (20 Nos. approx.). The details of the services can be found in the Invitation to Tender documents.
The following criteria is essential:
- A company, legally registered and licensed to operate in Iraq for providing security guards and related security services. Accredited by Ministry of Interior - Govt. of Iraq.
- Its security guards are registered and badged by Ministry of Interior – Govt. of Iraq.
- 3 or more years of experience in providing similar services to UN agencies OR International NGOs. References for past work OR evidence of ongoing contracts OR both, to be provided.
- Evidence of compliance with the Social Security Department and Income Tax regulation – Govt. of Iraq.
- Demonstrated ability to provide armed guards, if & when needed, with weapons registered and badged by the Ministry of Interior – Govt. of Iraq
