Description

Site Engineer - Ninevah

 

QRCs - Iraq Mission is looking for a site engineer. He will be responsible to works in the area of Assessment, rehabilitation and field team managements to support the field Coordinator in all aspects of required operations.

 

 Responsibility:

 

  • Determining the percentage of damages and make the decision of rehabilitation according to specified - percentage of damages.
  • Conducting a technical assessment for the shelter of the rehabilitation project by estimating the quantities related to the actual damages and entering them into the BoQ form.
  • Preparing a daily report on the activities that have been implemented.
  • Follow-up on the implementation of the activities to ensure conformity with the BoQs.
  • Convey progress, comments, problems etc. to field Coordinator and project Manager regarding the works.
  • Prepare site reports with provide input data for monthly progress reports and conduct daily progress review.
  • Reported to the field coordinator.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Qualification and Requirements:

 

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or other related discipline.
  2. 2 to 3 years’ experience in assessment, rehabilitation and construction works, in humanitarian context, NGOs or companies.
  3. Proficient computer skills, mainly MS suite (Word, Excel).
  4. Experience with data collection software (ex: Kobo collect).
  5. Fluency in English, Arabic languages.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Good time management skills and meeting deadlines.
  8. Understanding of field management.
  9. Written and oral communication skills.
  10. Skilled in record keeping and documentation.
  11. Excellent organization and communication skills.
  12. Ability to work independently.
  13. Ability to work well under tight deadline.
  14. Integrity and details focused.
  15. Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
